(for Ages 25-29)
Get two cameras, and spilt up. Take pictures of places that bring back good memories of times together. Or take pictures of places that describe qualities of the other person. For example, if the person is sweet, take a picture of your local candy store. Once you've had the pictures developed, compare them over dinner, while recalling fond memories you've had together.
Go sailing. Many marinas along the coast have different kinds of sailing and motorized yachts to rent by the hour. These packages include the captain, food, entertainment, and many other extras that you may or may not want to pay for (i.e. fishing, candle-lit dinner, etc.).
Take a fruit plate to elderly people in your neighborhood. Explain that you'd like to share some food and fun with them. Share some humorous stories, then offer to play a game (Chinese checkers is a good one). Ask them to share the story of how they met, and their favorite date.
Go sightseeing or touring a city. Visit a museum or art gallery, go shopping and enjoy lunch or dinner at one of the city's popular restaurants. Perhaps you can take a walking tour of the downtown sites. Ask the chamber of commerce or visitor's bureau for things to do and places of interest.
Make a treat together, then take it to a crabby neighbor. Leave a note, wishing them a happy day.
Go pick strawberries, raspberries, or other fruit together. Leave stems attached and dip a few large strawberries into chocolate (you'll need to find dipping chocolate). Or make ice cream crepes together with fresh fruit. Or for a simple treat, enjoy ice cream with fresh fruit topping.
Go to your local Party Store and rent a helium tank good for around 75 balloons. Buy around 8 dozen or more packages of balloons. Go home and blow them up in the bedroom. Donít forget to leave at least 2-3 dozen (without helium) for the floor and bed. Add some candles and some fresh flowers for the room. Then get your favorite board game and set it up on the bed.
Play pictionary with playdough or finger-paints. Be creative and use your imagination. Take pictures to keep the memories alive.
Spend a Sunday evening reading a few chapters in scriptures or a few spiritual stories. Afterwards, have a spiritual discussion together. This is a way to deepen your relationship.
Sketch your dream-house floor plan and talk about the possibilities for each room. You could visit model homes or open-houses together for ideas.
Make a LOT of instant pudding and whipped cream and go to a park or a backyard and have a pudding fight! Then wash off with water balloons or a hose, then go swimming.
Dye each other's hair crazy colors using temporary hair-dye (or permanent, if you prefer).
Go to a diner for lunch. Sit on the same side of a restaurant booth. Share a ice-cream sundae or a smoothie or french fries.
Exercise together a couple of times a week (walking, riding, jogging, take an exercise class, etc.). Bring water, but leave the iPod behind. It's hard to talk when you've got something in your ears.
Take the time to make a CD of favorite love songs. Go dancing down by the riverfront, lake, or ocean with a CD player and slow dance until the sun goes down. Watch the stars come out, and talk about your dreams for the future.
Rent a snowmobile and ride to your favorite area. Take lunch and hot cocoa. Make sure someone knows your itinerary, or plan your trip with another couple.
