(for Ages Under 16) Buy some pre-made pizza crusts, pizza or spaghetti sauce, and toppings (sausage, pepperoni, cheese, mushrooms, etc.). Each couple creates half of a pizza with whatever toppings they like. Cook the pizzas and then have dinner. You can then go get ice cream for dessert. Go to a thrift store as a couple and buy clothes to wear for the date (the wilder the better). Then go to dinner and skating (or sporting event or a social event). As a twist, simply choose to wear an accent that ties your outfits together. Wash and wax a parent's car (or offer to provide some other needed service, like cleaning out the garage, weeding the garden, or wash windows). Then have ice cream cones on the porch or patio. Have dinner with your parents. Offer to cook the meal (with your date) if the parents pay for the groceries. Kidnap your dates real early in the morning and go to breakfast. Prearrange with a family member or roommate for your date to wear pajamas to bed. If that doesn't work, give your date 2 minutes to put on pajamas or sweats (no make-up or showers allowed). For a double date, set up a table with really nice china. Create a menu with several choices. If you are serving something like macaroni and cheese, create options like macaroni and cheese, cheese with noodles, cheesy pasta, etc. (different names for the same item). Then escort the girls to the table and serve them the food. I’ve had this done to me and done it to others and it works great every time! Many have never traveled by train. Plan an activity in a nearby town using the train as your transportation. Maybe you could even ask someone to take you on a tour through the different cars.
