Games and Activities
(for Ages 22-24)

Each couple works as a team. After picking a subject for the evening, such as movies, songs, etc., the couples space themselves throughout the room. One member of each team goes up and looks at the title or word and returns to his partner and begins drawing pictures as clues. The couple who comes up with a right answer first wins one point. The opposite person in each couple then goes to the front to look at the subject he is to draw, and the game continues.

Give each person 7 clothes pins. On "go" each person must clip his/her clothes pins on someone else's clothes (7 different people). The game continues for about 5 minutes. On STOP, the winner is the one with the fewest pins attached to his/her clothes.

Here's a party starter. The host or hostess finds out two or three things about each guest in advance. They could be such things as: A beautiful girl with blonde hair, A guy from Toledo. He likes Spanish foods. Give each guest a list. They must then obtain the signature of the person who matches the description (the two or three items).

Have an egg toss.

Each person sits in a circle with a napkin and one large marshmallow. The first person puts the marshmallow in his mouth BUT DOES NOT CHEW OR SWALLOW IT and says "Chubby Bunny!" This continues with the rest of the people in the circle. Then repeat with a second marshmallow, then a third, and so on. You are out if: you chew, you swallow, you spit, or you cannot say "Chubby bunny!".

Have the group form a circle with their hands out showing all their fingers. This is a count down game. The point is to say something that you have done, and if others haven't done it, they have to put down a finger. Someone says something about him/herself that is different from those around him/her and the others who don't have that in common or haven't done what that person has done puts a finger down. Whoever has any fingers left out wins (decide on a prize before playing). This game can last for a long time and is very enjoyable when wanting to know the real side of people.

Go to a local place where they make trophies and get a plaque that says "World's Best Girlfriend" (or Boyfriend or Friend or Golfer, etc.)

Take turns drawing pictures that represent a story from the scriptures and see if others can guess the scripture story.

See how small a circle your group can squish into. Keep making the circle smaller and think of ways to get in a smaller area, such as making pyramids, sitting on laps, etc. Or use a small square of plywood and see how many can fit on a one foot square.

Put large paper bags on the heads of four or more guests. Give each person a marker which he/she will use to draw his/her own face as directed by an announcer. "Draw you right eye, then drop your hands to your side. Draw your left ear, then drop your hands to your side" and so forth until everyone is finished.

Each guy is assigned a letter, and each girl a number. They all sit in a circle (or two lines for larger groups). One person is selected to sit in the middle. The moderator calls out a number and letter. The person of the opposite sex who is called must kiss the person in the middle (IT) on the cheek before the person of the same sex as IT kisses the person who is trying to kiss IT. This may be altered to "Hugging Rugby" for small kids.

One person is asked to leave the room. With the person out, the others in the group agree on a pattern for imitating another person. For example, each person imitates the person two places to their left, or the person with the same color eyes to their right. When the "Psychiatrist" returns, he/she may ask anyone questions. Each person answers questions assuming they are the person being imitated. If one of the "Crazy group" yells "Psychiatrist", all players must run around and switch places, so that each person is now imitating a different person.

Each individual decides on an inconspicuous sign, such as brushing one's hair, rubbing one's nose, winking or such. Select a person to sit in the center of the group with eyes closed for thirty seconds. Next, silently select someone to pass his/her sign (IT). To pass a sign, IT looks at someone in the group, does his/her sign and the sign of the person receiving the sign, who becomes the new IT. This continues until the person in the middle catches a signal being passed (or IT). If correct, the person who got caught sending the signal must sit in the middle.

Play a quiz game like Trivial Pursuit or Who Wants to be a Millionaire.
