Ideas for Answering
(for Ages 16-18)

Make up a message with secret code. Send the decoder over several days.

Get a remote control car with a message attached to it. Drive it up to your date in class or at practice or at some event.

Buy a bag of Hershey's Kisses and Hershey's Hugs. Arrange them in the shape of a heart on the hood of her car. Leave a note with them stating that "I have a heart filled with Hugs & Kisses just for you. Yes, I will go." (This can only can be done in cooler weather).

Take a box of matches. On 51, write "yes" and on 50 write "no" (or if no, one more "no" than "yes". In a note say something like "pair up the couples to see if we would be the perfect match together"

Leave a note on their car saying that you would go on a date with him/her "when hell freezes over". Then, cover his/her front porch with blocks of ice, silver glitter, and cotton balls. Make a big sign that reads HELL with a note underneath that reads: "Hell must have froze over.. I'll be happy to go on a date with you."

Write "Yes" with a permanent marker on the bottom of a pie tin, then fill it with whipped cream or shaving cream and attach a note that states "Dig in for a sweet answer to your question".

Completely coat their room with crepe paper with your message on a poster board.

Make a dinner. Decorate a placemat that has your answer/invite in tiny print on the back. Make sure that it is a dinner of Macaroni and Cheese or something like that that people might think the answer could be hidden in. Ring doorbell and run!

Buy a children's sand bucket (pail). Fill it with candy with a note saying: "Let's go the dance, just as pails" (pals).

Unwrap one tootsie roll and put your message in it. Wrap it back up, and give the person a BIG BAG of tootsie rolls in their pillowcase or under their mattress.

Starting at the front door of her house, make a trail of Hershey's Kisses that leads to a shower. Hang roses from the shower head w/ a note that says - "Now that I've kissed the ground you walk on and showered you with roses, I will you go w/ you to _________!"

Get a toilet plunger (new with price tag still on it) and fill it with almond joy candy bars, then have a note attached to it that says "I would OVERFLOW with JOY to go to the ______ with you!"

Go to the person's house. Knock on the door and when they open it, say YES! And don't forget to smile.

If you have a BIG field or lawn, and a way to get him/her above it, mow a message into the lawn.

Get a couple packages of cookie dough, wax paper, and plastic forks. Put large scoops of the cookie dough on the wax paper with forks sticking out the top. Put these all over his/her room. Get a poster or a sign saying "If your forkin out the dough I'd love to go".
