Lunch Dates
(for Ages 19-21)
Have a contest who can make the best tasting lunch using Ramen noodle soup as a "main" dish. Put a limit on buying additional ingredients. Share each others' creations.
Have a lunch setup on a fire escape (only if you can do so without obstructing the stairway in case of real emergency).
Purchase items for a backyard B-B-Q and ask various neighbors to store items at their homes for pick-up later that evening. When guests arrive, send them out to "trick-or-treat" specific homes for food. Suggest to neighbors that your guests sing a song or demonstrate a talent before turning over the food. Then enjoy your cookout.
Have a Barbarian Barbecue. Cook your food over an open fire, barbecuing meat and baking potatoes. Eat the food with your hands, using no plates or knives or forks.
Plan and carry out a lunch date. Try a theme (progressive, ethnic, a little off the wall, etc). Don't be afraid to be creative.
Kidnap your dates. Blindfold your dates, then drive to the country for lunch (make sure you inform his/her parents beforehand). If you are with another couple, play a game like "Madlibs"
Go hiking or take a nature walk. Local city, state or national parks almost always have hiking and nature trails. Throw some drinks and a lunch in a backpack to eat along the way.
Have a pizza delivered with a note attached (directions to a meeting place for lunch).
Find a "free lunch". Some stores might offer free hot dog and a drink during a super sale (furniture, car dealers, etc.). Another alternative is to go where samples are given out. And take the opportunity to carry on conversations with those handing out the samples.
Have a picnic at the beach on a nice sunny day. You can also play football or volleyball on the beach.
