Playing Dates
(for Ages 16-18)

Many people don't have pools and/or aren't near the ocean... so why not have a party using the sprinklers in your yard? Have people bring things like kiddie pools and pool inflatable toys.

Play "Family Feud". The losing family serves the other a sit down dinner

Play hide-and-go-seek at night with partners (tie partners hands together).

Run through the sprinklers in your yard or at the park.

Play a two-player video game with your arms linked while holding the controllers. (Works best with a racing game)

Take a big group to the mall and have prewritten scenarios i.e. Fake a breakup, looking for engagement rings, superman rescuing damsel in distress, etc.... Each couple chooses a paper and must do whatever it says to do and must have the other couples witness it. However, the couples cannot let it be known that they are with the couple doing the thing on the paper so they have to act like they don't know them.

Go with your friends to the sand dunes for games of tag and surfing with large cardboard boxes. Play only in areas where motor vehicles are restricted.

Go goofy golfing with a bunch of people and tie your hands and feet together and golf like that. This not only makes it more fun, but it also makes it a lot cheaper!

Catch frogs and have a frog-jumping contest.

In the fall, take a blanket and a cup of hot chocolate outside. Lay the blanket on the ground underneath a tree, drink hot chocolate, and play a board game (battleship, stratego, trouble, etc.)

Put on your oldest clothes and head to a nearby mud hole. These mud holes can be found after rainstorms at baseball diamonds, parks, fields, and land that has been previously used for a garden. A long hose will also do the trick. First have a tug-of-war across the mud. Afterwards, have races where each person drags their partner through the mud.

Get a can of foamy shaving cream for each person. Find somewhere that you can make a mess, pass out cans, then ATTACK! Have a fun shaving cream fight. Make sure your dates have clothes on that they don't mind getting dirty.

You will need some water-based paint that you can get at any local home improvement store, water balloons, and a turkey baster. To fill up the balloons, use the turkey baster to put paint in the balloons and then fill the rest of it with water. Go to a park (one with trees is the best) and stash buckets of balloons throughout the park and have fun throwing them at each other. You will get messy, so be sure to bring clothes that will be ruined. If other people are around, be extremely careful.

Go golfing in the snow. Set up the holes in a large area, and play with brightly colored balls.

Get together with several other couples and go to a nearby amusement park.
