(for Ages 19-21) Put on some music, a warm fire in the fireplace, and drink egg-nog. Talk about your funniest and happiest times. Throw a prom! Hand your spouse an invitation when he/she leaves the house in the morning with a blindfold and a nice outfit. Give instructions to spruce up, put on the blindfold when he/she gets to the door, then knock. You must look your best, also. Decorate your living room in a prom type style and set out a candle light dinner. Have music playing when he/she enters. Take your date dancing on the observation or sun deck of a hotel or apartment complex. Carry a portable stereo or radio. Take your date out to a State park. Surprise him/her with a favorite home cooked dinner, complete with a red rose and candles. Unblindfold your date just in time to eat dinner while watching the sunset. After dinner, curl up in a blanket with your date, and watch the stars come out. If it's a nice warm and clear night, pick a nice bright star and just follow it wherever it leads until you can't follow it any more. At any point you can break off your journey and stop for ice cream, to talk, or pick another marker to follow. It can be quite romantic. Go on a beach and cuddle on a blanket with candles all around, while you stare up at the stars and listen to the waves crash....Magical Walk around a rose garden with many bushes so you can have privacy. It's even more romantic at nighttime when the moon is out. Go to the mountains and look for places to take memorable pictures (scenery, as well as each other). Take your time . . . This is not a race. Take a walk on the beach, bring some sodas/sandwiches, and have a nice romantic talk. Sit on the dock with your feet in the water. Rent ice skates at a local rink. After a couple of hours of skating, when hands are frozen and the excitement has worn off, go home and make some hot chocolate and enjoy cuddling in front of a warm fire. Take a horse-drawn carriage ride. When your date is far away or busy, do this: Before you hang up ask him/her to meet you in your dreams (in an open baseball stadium on the pitchers mound, in a canoe in the middle of the lake at sunset, etc.). Be specific. Take a biplane flight for either an adventure or a romantic sunset flight. Have the flight recorded to relive the memory. Tour your city (or one near-by). Arrange for a limo to pick you and your date up for that day. End the date with a romantic dinner at a restaurant or a picnic in a remote area, lit only by the limo's lights. Blindfold your date and feed him/her foods of your choice. Be playful. It's fun for the both of you! Be sure to let your date have a chance at this one.
